What I would say about being happy

So, I notice that i am laughing alot. Its the way that life should be lived. Remember all those years before--I know now that I wasn't happy. In fact i was grim, yes grim. What a good word. I thought I was just dedicated, maybe even a little intense. Not so bad to describe myself as intense and dedicated, but I am sure now that I was grim.

But look now at the smiles. there is nothing wrong with enjoying what you have and simply laughing all the time. Imagine that. A smile lasting all day long. Someone said I was glowing. I look at the pictures and yes, there is a sparkle a glow that is consistently there now that the weight is off of my shoulders. Well its mostly gone. Things are brighter now even without the money.

I figure there are just a few productive years left to make the money and provide the kids with a good springboard to launch into life. At the same time, keep them healthy and teach them how to take care of their health. Nutrition, choosing healthy foods, read labels while shopping. Learn to scope out bargains that are healthy and good priced both. Learn about how to eat the right things that will take care of your body to provide you with the good health that you need, cause when you have your health you have everything. but in reality what that means is that you have HOPE. And if you have HOPE you have everything.

I am lucky. I also have a fantastic drive to pursue my hopes. I hope that my children have good health in mind, body, and spirit. My whole goal for the rest of my life is to teach them how to maintain good health in all three. I am also trying to imbue them with some financial sense. I am so sorry I have to keep saying' we don't have enough money for ___' instead, I am trying to say, lets budget for this or lets see if we can find a good deal on this, or how about--do we really need this?

I swear I will give them financial security before I die. I will see them smile everyday. I will see them keep and enjoy their good health. I will have a roof over their head that they will feel safe. I brought them into this world and they are my great joy; I must provide for them in return for bringing them into this life. Thank you to my grandmother and my father for giving me each a little piece of th epicture of how to do this. I have to thank my sister and my mother for showing me that it is right to be able to play. I thank myself for learning that it is OK to play all the time in the pursuit of living a good life.
Amen.
